One Melnik Minute

Got 60 seconds? Righto. I’ll keep this brief.
Now that the Great Pumpkin has come and gone, everyone is focused on Thanksgiving, the big feast and, yes, politics. Politics? Sure. Everyone’s plotting how to keep the holiday dinner from being a political nightmare. What does one do when you have staunch republicans and feisty democrats at one table?
Simple. Just keep the wine talk flowing.
With only 25 seconds to spare … here’s a winning strategy. Just have some favorite bottlings on the table and when someone starts to filibuster or a nasty argument begins to fester, just point to the wine and say, have you tried such and such?
Here are a few lovely peace-keepers:
Tablas Creek Vineyard, 2007 Cotes de Tablas, Red Rhone Blend, Paso Robles, $25.
Davis Family Vineyards, 2007 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, $40.
Nigel, 2008 Kremser Freiheit Gruner Veltliner, Austria, $20.
Just put your faith in the wine because if it’s tasty enough, it will not only serve as a distraction …it will be the main course in your table talk.

Hey people, it is Thanksgiving Day! I’m enjoying my extra day off, and I am planning to doing something fun that will probably involve a moto trip and seeing something new in Tucson Estates I haven’t seen yet.
You write something new at Thanksgiving?

Today is my lucky day

My mom had promised me to gift a nintendo wii this christmas. But I got it for free, yeee. While looking for some place where I could get it cheap or with some discount, I found this website http://bit.ly/5PYFPX which offered a chance to win nintendo wii, as a special christmas promotion. All I needed to do was to enter my mobile number to enter into the contest. And yup, I won it. Lucky me. Now I am thinking what to ask my mom as a gift.
What do you guy’s suggest?
